Our Mission.
RBD’s mission is to provide quality products and services to the industry we serve. From electronic component supply, to assembly, to recycling. We aid and assist with new designs and provide end of life solutions for material that needs to be disposed of.
We have the technical expertise to create, produce and deliver industry-standard parts from electronic data/specifications. Our goal is to help keep manufacturing and production in motion.

Company History.
RBD Electronics, Inc. was established in 1982 as an independent distributor on Long Island, NY. We supplied electronic components to Military/Defense subcontractors, Textile industries, Medical Industries, Heavy Equipment Manufactures, Aerospace, Agriculture, and Construction industries.
In 1994, we broadened our offerings by expanding our services to include contract manufacturing services. We offer industries the option of subcontracting printed circuit board assemblies along with electronic component supply.
In January 2009, we again expanded our offerings to include reusable/renewable services. We developed processes to refurbish and repurpose end-of-use IT assets. Now, when companies retire merchandise that still have years of useful life, we test and refurbish the material to be sure they can be repurposed and offer those solutions around the globe extending their useful life. Anything that does not make the cut is broken down into commodities such as plastic, metal, precious metals, glass, and then recycled, so it does not end up in landfills where it would contaminate our environment.
